Vicky Dudley Weddings

Forms of payment accepted by Vicky Dudley Weddings are:

• Cash
• Check
• Money Order

Upon your acceptance of the quote, a $100.00 retainer is required for cake orders not exeeding $400.00. Orders exceeding $400.00 require a retainer of 25% of the total order. The non-refundable, non-transferable retainer will be applied to your balance, provided you do not cancel your order.

Full payment of the balance for your cake order is due no later than fourteen (14) days prior to your event. If you have not made your final payment 14 days prior to the confirmed date, your order will be cancelled.

A separate cash deposit, required for rentals or stands, etc., will be refunded upon return of items in good condition within one week following the event. The size and design of your cake(s) can be changed only prior to the final payment.

The bride/groom/family is responsible for:

• Any rentals pertaining to the cake that are not available through Vicky Dudley Weddings.
• Making arrangements with the reception vendor for a properly climate-controlled location for the cake(s) and a sturdy table/surface to receive the cake(s).
• Making arrangements with the reception vendor for a delivery time for the cake(s) and confirming the time with Vicky Dudley one week prior to the event.
• Properly preparing/decorating the cake table(s) to receive the cake(s) at the pre-determined delivery time.
• Accepting complete responsibility for any or all mishaps (insects, melted icing, un-level terrain, high winds, inclement weather, etc.) due to the cakes being placed in an outdoor location.
• Designating a representative of the bride/groom/family to be available  to sign for the cake(s) upon delivery.

*If you choose Vicky Dudley Weddings as your cake provider, you will be required to sign and date a copy of this contract signifying your acceptance of the quote and the conditions of the contract.
