About Us

Vicky has over twelve years experience baking and decorating wedding cakes and over thirty years experience in the floral industry. Her love of beauty and order and her commitment to excellence is reflected in the work she does. Vicky delights in working closely with her clients, especially brides, to custom-design just the right cake.

Vicky bakes her cakes to order using time-tested and well-received recipes, as evidenced by the numerous testimonials from her clients (and their guests!). Her most requested cakes are the traditional Bride's Cake--a moist white cake made with real butter, whole eggs, and pure vanilla extract--and the Groom's Chocolate Cake. Most brides find that their guests want a slice of each! Also popular are her delicious Carrot, Italian Cream, and Fresh Strawberry cakes. Vicky does not use artificial sweeteners in her cakes. Ever.

Vicky's favorite icing is Swiss Meringue Buttercream, a rich yet delicate icing with a glossy, almost flawless finish that has the smooth appearance of fondant. Also available are Chocolate Buttercream, Chocolate Ganache, and Fondant. Vicky's butter-cream icings are made from scratch with real butter. 
A variety  of fillings for between the layers is available, including the butter-creams (the most popular choice), seedless raspberry and strawberry jams, lemon curd, cream cheese buttercream, and chocolate ganache.

Vicky's cakes start at $3.00/serving with a minimum order of $75.00. The final cost of a custom-designed cake is determined by a pricing guide developed by Vicky that enables her to calculate a cake's price according to the choice of  flavor, icing and filling, complexity of design, etc. Vicky's cakes are sized to serve generous portions, ensuring that you will have an ample amount of cake to serve the guests at your event, provided your cake is cut correctly.

Along with the complimentary initial consultation for all clients, brides will also receive a cake box (for the top tier of the bride's cake) and cake freezing instructions.

Following your initial consultation with Vicky, you will receive a detailed description of your cake(s), along with the price per serving and any other information pertaining to your order. Upon your acceptance of the quote, including the terms of the contract, you will need to return the signed and dated contract to her along with the retainer in order to reserve your date.

Delivery charges do apply and are determined based on mileage and location.
